In April 2009, the 1394 Trade Association hosted a series of presentations and demos of interest to automotive designers and engineers. Design Seminar - October 2008. In October 2008, the 1394 Trade Association hosted a series of presentations of interest to designers and engineers working with 1394. Topics included Storage Solutions, Industrial Applications, Automotive Solutions, Large Topologies, and Windows Vista support for 1394. Nikkei Automotive Technology International Show - July 2008. In July of 2008, a group of engineers and executives gave a substantial address at the Nikkei Automotive Technology International Show. The New 1394 Automotive Copper Standard (3.8 Mb pdf) contains the slide deck that accompanied this presentation. Product Seminar - February 2008. In February 2008, the 1394 Trade Association hosted a series of presentations of interest to manufacturers and designers interested in the benefits of using 1394 in their products. Topics included 1394 in Machine Vision, Audio Video applications, Automobiles, and Computers, among others. The product seminar presentations are now available on-line.
