1394 TRADE ASSOCIATION COMPLIANCE PROGRAM: RESULTS SUBMISSION
Introduction
Companies wishing to earn a 1394 Compliant Logo for their product must submit the results of the appropriate tests on the appropriate Results Submission Form by clicking here for a PDF. However before the result form will be accepted, the 1394 Trade Association must have a valid logo license agreement on file. For more information about the logo license agreement please click here.
Result Form
To streamline the process the 1394 Trade Association only requires the submission of a results form and not the test results/logs themselves. However the 1394 Trade Association may request access to the results/logs at a future time. Please consult the logo license agreement for details.
Once the result form has been submitted to the 1394 Trade Association it is reviewed and the submitting company is notified that they may or may not begin using the compliant logo for the requested product. If for some reason the Result Form is rejected, the 1394 Trade Association will provide an explanation and allow the company to make the necessary changes and resubmit.
When a result form is submitted the Company automatically renews the term of the logo license agreement and also restates their agreement to it. If a company doesn’t submit a result form for a period defined by the logo license agreement then a new logo license agreement must be submitted.
NOTE: After the initial signing of the logo license agreement all other result form transactions may be done via email. The following fee structure assumes this to be the case. If for some reason your company requires paper copies additional fees may apply.
Result Submission Fees
The 1394 Trade Association accommodates both large and small companies through its results submission fee structure. For companies with only a few 1394 enable products or self-test laboratories not wishing to pay the annual submission fee there is an Individual Submission fee.
Individual Submission Fee
When submitting the result form/logo license agreement the first time the fee is $100.00 USD.
Subsequent submissions of the results form are $50.00
For certified self-test laboratories that anticipate submitting more than 20 result forms per year there is an annual submission fee.
