FUNCTIONAL CONFORMANCE TEST FOR AV CATEGORY
For the Functional Conformance Test of following product categories, authorized test tools are prepared.
AV Category: Audio Video Device
AVC1) D-VHS Device
AVC2) DV Device
AVC3) AV-HDD Device (for the Japanese market)
AVC4) STB Device for Japanese BS/CS Digital Broadcasting System
AVC5) TV Device for Japanese BS/CS Digital Broadcasting System
AVC6) STB Device for Japanese Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting System
AVC7) TV Device for Japanese Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting System
AVC8) Blu-ray Disc recorder/player Device (for the Japanese market)
Each test tool consists of 1394AV/C Test Tool and Test Script. 1394AV/C Test Tool is commonly used for all the product categories described above and is licensed from Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd (MEI).
